Find or Replace an MT4 Investor Password: Choose the Right Route
If you need an MT4 investor password, first identify the account and provider, then check your own original records or the provider's supported password-management process. If the current credential is unavailable, a reset or replacement is different from revealing the old password.
Choose the situation that matches your account

The official demo-account registration guide describes a registration message containing login/password details. That is one possible original record for that registration process, not a promise that every provider portal displays every existing password.
Replace a missing credential through an approved route
The MT4 Server guide documents the account password-change control and the investor-password option. Use the current legitimate terminal/provider process and its displayed requirements. The setup guide covers the corresponding workflow.
Do not upload terminal account files to a recovery website, send master credentials to someone offering to decode them, or publish a screenshot containing account passwords. If your provider requires identity checks, complete those through its own supported channel.
Check the account, server and password type
Investor authorisation uses the trading account number with the appropriate password and server. It is not a new investor account with a different automatically generated login ID. The read-only login guide covers checking those fields.
Do not substitute a master password into a reporting service merely because the investor login failed. First verify the platform, account/server pairing and provider status. If authorisation works but a report is stale or incomplete, investigate the received history and service status separately.
Handle access and reports separately
A replacement credential can affect every service using the previous one. Keep track of intended recipients and update only connections you want to retain. Use provider/service session controls where appropriate and confirm the access state.
A password change does not retrieve history already copied. Read-only access also does not verify strategy ownership, every historical floating loss, independent audit assurance or eligibility for funding.

Does changing a password reveal the old one?
No. A change/reset creates a current credential; it is different from finding a still-valid credential in your own original records. Provider portal behaviour varies.

Can an analytics service reset my broker credential?
