iPhone Trading Journal: Web Access, Home Screen and Saved Notes

Choosing a trading journal for iPhone starts with the work you need to do on the phone: capture a short explanation, find a past entry and check the account record behind a result. An app icon, a large metric count or a verification label does not establish that those tasks work for your account.

Browser access and an App Store app are different

MyVeridex is accessed through its website. Opening that service on an iPhone is a web workflow. Do not infer a separate App Store listing, a native iOS application or offline capabilities from a page describing an iOS trading journal.

If you want a Home screen entry, follow Apple's Safari web-app instructions: open the website in Safari, use Share and Add to Home Screen, choose Open as Web App when that option is available, and add it. Menu placement varies with the Safari layout. Reopen the icon and check the actual destination and sign-in state.

This changes how you open the website. It does not make broker updates immediate, turn notes into an offline queue or add a continuous risk-monitoring service.

Capture an observation without losing its context

In MyVeridex Journal, use the note field to describe the setup, action and reason. The current form also offers emotion, tags and strategy selections. Add an account label and a transaction reference in the note when those are needed to locate the original record later.

Do not enter broker passwords into journal notes or expose them in shared screenshots. A selected recent-trade item is not a promise of a permanently stored link to the complete execution history.

Test the part that matters: retrieval

  1. Open the intended signed-in account and create a short, non-sensitive note.
  2. Save once and reload the page.
  3. Find the note again. If it is missing, retain the original text and resolve the save issue rather than relying on the list that was previously displayed.
  4. If you alternate between an iPhone and a computer, check the same entry from the same account on the computer.

Keep an internet connection for this workflow and a separate copy of an unsent note; do not assume it will upload later. Check the visible record after a connection interruption or returning to a suspended browser session.

Keep account analytics separate from journal observations

The currently offered MyVeridex connectors are MT4 and MT5 using investor-password access. That access is for viewing rather than placing trades; it is not an assurance about every security or data-handling issue. Check the exact broker server, account, available history and last successful update.

A metric is calculated from the records and method available to it. Closed-trade history does not by itself recover every floating-equity value between observations. Neither a MyVeridex badge nor a mobile journal is an independent audit or a guarantee of acceptance by a prop firm or investor. See the account-check explanation for the status limits.

Choose according to your actual review

If a native iPhone app is essential, verify its current store listing, developer, compatible device and required workflow directly. For a browser journal, check readable notes, navigation with the keyboard visible, persistence and access to the required account. Use the Mac workflow for a longer desktop review. A journal can organize that review without promising improved returns or a passed evaluation.

Frequently asked questions

Is opening MyVeridex on an iPhone the same as downloading an App Store app?

No. The website provides a web workflow. A Safari Home screen entry does not establish a separate native iOS app or store listing.

Does Add to Home Screen make my journal work offline?

No. Treat MyVeridex note saving as an online workflow and reload to confirm that an entry was saved.

Will every closed trade appear immediately on my iPhone?

Do not assume immediate or complete updates. Check the exact account, available history and last successful update before using its metrics.

Does a public profile prove that a prop firm accepts my results?

No. Ask the recipient about its current requirements. A product badge and an account history are not an independent audit or acceptance guarantee.
