NinjaTrader Performance Tracking: Native Reports and CSV Review

Start NinjaTrader performance tracking with the platform's own Trade Performance report and the account records behind it. Fix the account, period, instruments and calculation unit, then compare the results with the provider's statement. MyVeridex currently does not offer a NinjaTrader connector.

Generate a native Desktop report

The official Trade Performance overview describes customized account-history reports. In NinjaTrader Desktop, open Control Center → New → Trade Performance. Follow the native report guide to select the start and end dates and generate the view.

  1. Choose the intended reporting dates and record their timezone.
  2. Check the selected account or accounts and instrument filters.
  3. Generate the report and select the required view, such as executions or trades.
  4. Record the calculation unit and any relevant report settings with the output.

The report guide notes that records can extend before the selected start date where a position was already open: the report can include activity back to when the instrument was last flat. Inspect the actual rows instead of treating the date selector as proof that every displayed execution falls inside your intended window.

Preserve the exported data and its settings

NinjaTrader documents exporting data grids through the context menu, including CSV output. Retain the original file alongside a note of the account filters, period, view and units. An edited spreadsheet should be a separate working copy.

Native Desktop and Web reporting controls are different workflows. Check the documentation for the application you actually use rather than assuming one app's export or display controls exist in the other.

Reconcile transactions and costs

CheckCompareReason
ScopeAccount identifiers, instruments and period boundariesSeveral selected accounts or a position crossing the boundary can change the interpretation
Record unitOrders, executions and grouped tradesA count in one unit is not automatically comparable with another
Prices and sizeExecution times, quantities and instrument specificationsContract, point and tick conventions must match the instrument
CostsReported results, commissions and other chargesMissing costs or subtracting an included cost again changes the result
External flowsDeposits, withdrawals, credits and adjustmentsA balance change is not necessarily trading performance

Document unmatched records instead of silently editing totals to agree. Keep account currencies distinct or state the conversion method. For a defined reconciliation method and disclosure pack, see the trading-record evidence checklist.

Do not turn the report into a continuous rule monitor

Check whether a risk figure describes closed-trade results, observed account equity or another method. A table of closed executions alone cannot establish every floating-equity value between them. A historical report also does not continuously enforce a programme's current loss rules.

Ask the specific provider what measurement, account stage and source it uses. Do not apply generic foreign-exchange programme targets to a futures account or assume that a report guarantees a passed evaluation, funding or a payout.

What MyVeridex does and does not offer here

MyVeridex currently offers MT4 and MT5 investor-password connections. It does not offer NinjaTrader or Tradovate connections. Do not enter a NinjaTrader login into an MT4/MT5 form or describe that as an investor-password integration.

Supported MT4/MT5 statement imports are not confirmation that a native NinjaTrader CSV will be accepted or interpreted correctly. A file extension alone does not establish schema compatibility. Keep the native report and its source context rather than presenting a renamed file as a supported MetaTrader statement.

An analytics badge, a CSV and an account statement each have a scope. None is automatically an independent audit, proof of legal identity or an immutable record. Use the account-check explanation to distinguish MyVeridex product status from independent assurance.

Frequently asked questions

Can MyVeridex currently connect to my NinjaTrader account?

No. The current offered connectors are MT4 and MT5. A broker listing does not establish NinjaTrader or Tradovate support.

Why can my report include activity before its selected start date?

NinjaTrader documents that a report can include earlier activity back to the last flat position where a position was already open at the boundary. Review the actual included executions.

Does a NinjaTrader CSV automatically work in a MetaTrader statement importer?

No. An extension does not establish matching fields or calculation conventions. Native NinjaTrader compatibility must be specifically confirmed rather than assumed.

Does a performance report prove that every intraday loss rule was respected?

Not by itself. Check the required source, equity observations, account stage and rule definition. A closed-trade report is not a continuous risk-limit enforcement service.
