Community Sentiment
A live read on how MyVeridex traders are positioned right now across forex, indices, metals and crypto. Every figure on the page is calculated when you load it, so nothing here is a fixed number.
What this page shows
The full sentiment view lists up to 30 of the most-traded instruments. Each row gives the symbol, the share of open positions that are long, the share that are short, and how many traders and how many individual positions that row is built from. Above the list sits a count of the open positions feeding the page and a single overall long-versus-short bias.
Where the numbers come from
Sentiment is aggregated from the trading accounts that MyVeridex users have connected and chosen to make public. Only positions that are open at this moment are counted. Closed trades and historical performance are not part of this page. The aggregate is recalculated on our side and cached for sixty seconds, which is why the page describes itself as updated every minute.
An instrument only appears once at least three different traders hold a position in it. If a symbol is missing from the list, that is the reason. All of it is anonymous: no individual trader position is exposed, and nothing on the page can be traced back to a specific account.
How to read it
- The two percentages are a split. For each symbol they divide the open positions in that instrument between buys and sells.
- The overall bias counts positions, not size. It is a head count of open longs against open shorts, so a ten-lot trade and a hundredth-of-a-lot trade weigh the same. It tells you which way the crowd is leaning, not how much is behind it.
- Check the trader count before you lean on a row. A reading built from three traders is far thinner than one built from thirty, and the row tells you which it is.
- It is a sample, not the market. This is the positioning of MyVeridex traders with public profiles. It describes what has already been done, not what will happen next, and it is not a trade recommendation.
