A useful Myfxbook alternative must fit your account and your review workflow. Begin with the platform you actually use, the records you need to reconcile and the questions you want to answer. A feature list is less helpful if its advertised connector cannot collect your history or its metrics use different definitions.
MyVeridex is a trading analytics product. As reviewed on 3 October 2026, its offered account connections are MT4 and MT5. This guide explains when that scope may suit you and how to test an alternative using your own permitted account data. It does not rank other products by unverified prices, user counts or performance claims.
Separate three different jobs
Traders often combine account tracking, trade journaling and public reporting under one label. Write down which job matters most before comparing tools.
| Your task | What to inspect | A useful test |
|---|---|---|
| Track an account | Supported connection, history coverage, sync status and treatment of cash flows. | Reconcile a fixed period to the original broker statement. |
| Review decisions | Trade-level context, notes, filters and your method for recording the original risk. | Review one losing trade and one winning trade without reconstructing missing facts. |
| Share results | Report scope, public-profile controls, source disclosures and the meaning of any badge. | Open the shared report as a reader and check what it reveals or leaves out. |
A tool may serve more than one task, but do not infer a complete journal, an independent audit or every platform connector from an account dashboard. Check the released controls that you will use.
Confirm the platform before comparing features
MyVeridex currently offers MT4 and MT5. Its connection screen asks for the broker, server, account number and investor password. The investor password is read-only, as explained in the official MT5 authorization documentation. Do not provide a master trading password to an analytics connection.
cTrader, DXTrade, Match-Trader, TradeLocker, Tradovate and NinjaTrader are not currently offered MyVeridex connectors. An article mentioning a platform is not a release announcement. If you use one of those platforms, establish a supported route before planning to move your reporting to MyVeridex.
Also confirm the exact broker server and history availability. Two accounts using MT5 can have different server names or accessible records. Support for the platform does not guarantee that every broker or historical period will connect successfully.
Run a small comparison before moving your workflow
- Choose a permitted account and fixed period. Use an account you are authorized to access. Record the report timezone, account currency and exact dates.
- Keep the original statement. Save a broker statement for that period. Record starting and ending balances, cash flows, trade count, profit, commissions and swaps separately.
- Connect through the current screen. Select MT4 or MT5, choose the broker and server, and enter the account number and investor credential. Do not put credentials in a screenshot or public review.
- Wait for a successful sync. Check the actual sync status and last-sync time. Avoid judging completeness while the connection is failing or history is still loading.
- Reconcile differences. Check timezone boundaries, missing closed trades, deposit treatment and fees before treating a total as wrong.
- Review the workflow. Open account details and test the report, filters and information you need. Record any manual work required for your journal.
Statement import can help review supported historical files, but label imported data as imported. Do not assume that its source assurance is identical to a continuing connected account. Retain your original records during any tool migration.
Compare definitions rather than just the numbers
The same label can refer to different calculations. Profit factor may use trade profit before separately recorded costs. Drawdown may be reconstructed from closed trades rather than measured continuously with open positions. A Sharpe ratio may use cash profit per trading day rather than percentage returns.
Ask which records and denominators drive each metric. Match the period, timezone, cost treatment and equity basis before comparing two dashboards. MyVeridex's current scheduled analytics use closed-trade data for several risk measures, so they should not be treated as an official real-time prop-firm limit monitor. The metrics guide explains these distinctions with a worked example.
Understand what a verification label means
MyVeridex's scheduled verification job checks the collection method, recent sync, account-record age, trade count, manual balance-edit record and active status. Connection and sync updates can also set the recorded badge between evaluations, so a visible badge does not establish that every condition was just checked. It is not an independent audit or an identity guarantee. See the verification guide for the exact thresholds and reporting disclosures.
Evaluate another service's labels under its own documentation. Do not assume two products verify the same things simply because both display a badge. No analytics label guarantees investor acceptance, an evaluation pass or a future result.
Check the terms that affect your decision
Use current first-party pricing and terms when assessing a subscription. Check the plan's actual account limit, sync interval, reporting features and cancellation conditions rather than a blog's old price table. MyVeridex lists its current options in the pricing section, with the applicable terms and privacy information.
For data access, establish who can see a public report, which personal details are shown, and how you can stop a connection. Read-only credentials reduce the permissions granted to the connection, but account history is still sensitive information. Confirm the process that fits your own privacy requirements.
When MyVeridex is a practical candidate
MyVeridex is worth testing when you use a supported MT4 or MT5 account and want connected account analytics, account details and a report you can explain to a reader. Test it against your statement and actual review tasks before deciding. If your required connector is unavailable or you need a particular journaling capability, treat that as a requirement to verify rather than assuming it will arrive later.
The product's Myfxbook comparison, TradeZella comparison, Tradervue comparison and FX Blue comparison are MyVeridex's own comparison pages. Read them as first-party product descriptions, then verify competing products' current details directly. Your reconciliation exercise is the strongest way to determine whether a proposed workflow fits your account.
